In the midst of the power struggle between the three Rojo brothers and sheriff John Baxter, the Anonymous Man enters the village of San Miguel in Mexico. If a regiment of Mexican soldiers carrying gold to pay for new weapons is led by the Rojo brothers, the stranger puts himself in the middle of a long-running war and sells false information to both sides for his own benefit.
